The holding area is where you and your family get to go after you finish checking in with the admitting area. The holding area is a really cool area with cartoon like butterflies, all over the ceiling. We have great nurses that work there, and it is their job to get you ready for surgery. There is also an awesome playroom in the holding area where you can play when the nurses finish checking you in; you can even bring toys from the playroom to your bed to play with while you get ready for surgery.
